Note: Key plot points for Episode 3 of the new season are included.
The Warrior Group Unveiled
The latest chapter finished on a huge suspense moment and revealed the first table of adventurers who will split off from the main group to undertake their independent quest, apart from the other two tables.
The combat-focused team includes Teor Pridesire (portrayed by Travis), the nimble rogue (Laura), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).
Why Split the Party?
Considering an extensive roster, it was evident from the start that maintaining everyone at a single group would be unworkable.
This explains, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, connecting the individual narratives before branching into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Schemers, and Explorers.
What Defines the Warrior Group
According to the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for players who prefer a typically action-packed battle-oriented gameplay experience where non-violent answers are few and far between.
Initially, figures such as the reluctant priest the cleric might appear mismatched, but the developments of episode 3 demonstrate why these five characters are ideally matched for the combat party.
Reasons to Leave
First, the party understands precisely where to head next after a violent opening clash with The Crow Keepers.
A former ally of Thjazi—whose passing initiated the campaign’s events—exploited The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, invading the hidden lair, attacking Thimble, and taking all the powerful objects to sell off.
Casimir then paid off his obligations and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, north of the city, with Cyd pursuing him.
Character Drivers
Additionally, each character has a personal reason to leave the city the urban setting:
- The rogue, as the companion and best friend, seeks vengeance.
- Kattigan has experience in Timmony and cautions that it is a hostile environment.
- The warrior and The healer, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to eliminate the target and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
- But, their status as prominent individuals in the powerful family could enable the party enter locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
- Moreover, The grateful character vowed a eternal obligation to The cleric for his rescue and will now go with him everywhere.
Pursued by Authorities
In addition, all of them are sought by the powers that govern the city for a range of causes, making lingering locally no longer safe:
- Thimble and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
- The warrior and The healer defied the influential house and the army of fiends they are allied with.
- The fighter is wanted dead by the clan.
This leaves them few options but to journey toward the remote area in pursuit of the antagonist.
